When I was a little girl, my fondest memories of my grandmother Hazel were sitting with her creating beautiful things.
I work at Charm City Cakes in Baltimore part time and only take about one cake a week so I can enjoy being at home with my young children and give each cake the attention I feel it deserves. Working at Charm City Cakes and living in the Baltimore/D.C. area has enabled me to learn from some of the best cake designers in the country, and I am continually growing!
When I’m not baking, I enjoy homeschooling my kids, hikes, museums, traveling, and cooking for friends. My husband and I love having people in our home, sharing life, delicious food, and our stories together. Stopping to savor the beauty, joy, and design all around us is an important part of our lives. I would love to hear from you!

I named this business after her, because she was one of the first who taught me the joy in art and design. Enjoying and creating beauty have always been part of who I am, and baking has been a way to show my love to others. I love being a part of my client’s special celebrations, and I treat each cake like a custom work of art. Creating a cake that reflects my client’s tastes, aesthetic, and story is wonderful challenge!
